Why opt for a bamboo toothbrush?

Unlike plastic toothbrushes, bamboo ones do not damage our environment. They can naturally biodegrade, without leaving any harmful traces. Bamboo is also the fastest growing plant on our planet. It contains naturally-occurring antimicrobial agents, so there's no need to use pesticides or fertilizers during its cultivation.

What kind of bamboo is used for a Wambu toothbrush?

Our bamboo originates from the Zhejiang province in China. It is organically sourced and of the highest quality.

How is a Wambu toothbrush packaged?

Our brushes are packed in unique triangular kraft boxes. They are made of 100% cardboard, fully recyclable.

Are the bristles soft?

Yes, we use dentist recommended soft bristles for our toothbrushes. These work well on all kinds of teeth, without causing any damage to them.

Are the bristles biodegradable?

Unfortunately, there are no properly functioning biodegradable bristles available today. Except for pig hair, which is a highly controversial material, with its acquisition involving practices we don't support. However, we use completely BPA-free Nylon 6 bristles, perfectly suited for optimal oral care and 100% recyclable.

How can I recycle a Wambu toothbrush?

The handle of a Wambu toothbrush is made from fully biodegradable bamboo, so you can perfectly throw it in your composting bin or use it as firewood. The bristles aren't biodegradable, they need to be disposed of the right way. Use a pair of pliers to remove the bristles from the toothbrush head. Now you can dispose of the bristles in your household waste or ask your local recycling facility for recycling options.

What paints are used to color a Wambu toothbrush?

We use sustainable plant based paints to color our toothbrushes.

Is a Wambu toothbrush vegan?

Yes, it is absolutely 100% vegan. No animal testing, no animal materials.

Is a Wambu toothbrush BPA-free?

Yes, no hormone disruptive effects at all.

Is a Wambu toothbrush non-GMO?

Yes, no genetic modification at all.

How long can I use a Wambu toothbrush?

The lifespan of a Wambu brush is just as long as plastic toothbrushes. Dentists suggest replacing your toothbrush every 2 months.

What are the dimensions of a Wambu toothbrush?

175mm high, 15mm wide and 15mm thick.

What do I get if I order a mix?

If you order a 5-pack mix, you will receive one toothbrush of every color. If you order a 10-pack mix, you will receive two toothbrushes of every color.
